BioV Vegetable capsule is made of HPMC and pure water. The HPMC (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose), is extracted from a pine, the main ingredient is polysaccharides. HPMC is approved as “Generally Recognized as Safe” (GRAS) by the US FDA. In the US Pharmacopoeia (USP), European Pharmacopoeia (EP) and the Japanese Pharmacopoeia (JP), HPMC has all written as a widely used raw material for pharmaceutical, supplements, and cosmetic formulations.
